About

Thank you for stopping by. I am a SLC based Designer & Illustrator who has a deep love for music. I’m a volunteer on-air radio host for KRCL 90.9FM and a music writer for SLUG Mag (Salt Lake Under Ground). I was inspired by many 365 projects and decided 2012 would be a good year to complete a pattern, poster, or hand letter every day. Also, explore color and test out some textures.

I ran upon your work on Pinterest and I love your lettering style and color choices. Your connection with the show cards to the music that you must love and lettering style is motivational. I am a student right now and I am working on an independent study with my letterpress/graphic design professor right now on hand lettering. I recently made a Wilco showcard in my letterpress class that I really enjoyed working on and I saw the one that you had done in your work. I was just wondering how you got interested in hand lettering and how you gained the skills that you possess now? Is there something that you would suggest or recommend to someone trying to learn? Thanks for your time. I look forward to hearing back from you.

Hi, I like your artwork. I was just in town from Boise to see one of my favorite bands, the National. I was looking online to see if I could find any concert posters and I found you. Do you have any I Was Afraid I’d Eat Your Brains posters for sale? I would like 2 if you do.
